KET's Schools of Management (KBS and KMS) organised an Inter-Collegiate Cricket Competition for undergraduate colleges

KET’s Schools of Management (KBS and KMS) organised an inter-collegiate cricket competition for undergraduate colleges on 17th February, 2024, on the KET Turf. Teams from across Mumbai participated in the competition, and

23 teams competed in the preliminary round. CHM College, Siddharth College, Thakur Polytechnic, Shriram College, L G College, VPM College, RJ College, KC College, Deshpande College, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Anand College, Khalsa College, Saraswati College, Valia College, MCC College, Pedharkar College, Gahlot College of Pharmacy, NSS College, Bedekar College, Shroff College, NKT College and Sasmira who enthusiastically showcased their talent in the competition.

The lush green KET Turf was abuzz with students cheering for their teams.

The live commentary by students from KET’s Schools of Management added to the enthusiasm and excitement. The final round lived up to the quality of the game displayed by all teams throughout the tournament. The finale was between Valia College and NSS College, where Valia College bagged the KCL Trophy and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 20,000. NSS College received the Runner’s Up Trophy and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 15,000. Over and above team performances, individual performances also were rewarded. The Best Batsman, Best Bowler and All Rounder were presented with a cash prize of Rs. 3000 each. All team members were awarded participation certificates for their efforts.

The KCL concluded with the prize distribution by the hands of Dr. Vishnu Chaure and Mr. Sachin Mistry.

To make this KCL successful Siddhesh Kamblekar. Preeti Dubey, Mr. Pradyumna Kamble, Trupti Poojari, Eknath Bhutal, Amole Karde, Maintenances team compressing of Sudhir Salaskar, Amol Ghadi and the support staff and finally the core team of KMS and KBS students who has made this competition successful.

The entire campus was tastefully decorated by the student’s volunteers of KMS and KBS who took great efforts in making the event come alive. Hats off to the effort put in by each and every member of KET’s Schools of Management
