Enhancing the Teaching Learning Experience: Ms. Anu Oza shares useful tips with participants at the FDP organised by KET’s Schools of Management
Ms. Anu Oza, an accomplished HR professional, who is frequently invited to teach at Harvard and Columbia Business Schools, addressed participants during the FDP bearing the title Bridging the Industry-Academia Expectations Gap in Communication. Taking cognizance of the expectations gap, Ms. Oza, in her session, covered different ways to effectively address it. She also shared simple exercises, which educators could implement in the classroom, to prepare their students to face varied challenges in the industry. Moreover, she also emphasised on the importance of utilising in-house resources, to train students and mentor them, especially in the area of GD/PI training for placement preparedness, to help students achieve their desired goal. An insightful session which generated a lot of interaction, Ms. Oza’s practical tips to the participants stemmed from her vast and varied experience and would surely go a long way in addressing and reducing the challenges faced by educators and learners.
