A Power Packed Win for KET's Schools of Management's Students
The ‘Power Pitch’ Competition organised by D Y Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Navi Mumbai, offered an opportunity to budding entrepreneurs, to showcase their business IQ. Kohinoor Business School students, Jayesh Pardeshi and Shivam Gupta, participated in this competition and in their presentation proposed a one-stop solution to problems that are caused due to lack of Electronic Vehicle (EV) charging stations, by introducing an ‘EVCA App’. This application offered real time availability of charging stations, filtering charging stations based on specific criteria, booking charging slots in advance, as well as arranging for a driver for a pick up and drop facility for EV cars. This unique idea and plan of implementation helped the students bag the first prize amongst 10 teams, from various colleges that participated. KET’s Schools of Management feels extremely proud of this achievement and may this be the first among many more achievements to come in future!
