The KMAT (KMS Management Admission Test) is an entrance examination conducted by Kohinoor Management School (KMS) as part of its admission process for the two years full time PGDM Program.
The test is designed to assess a candidate’s basic aptitude, analytical thinking, and general awareness required for management education.
The KMAT consists of three sections, each carrying 15 marks, making a total of 45 Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) having 45 Marks in total.
Section-1: (15 MCQ Questions)
Numerical Ability – This section evaluates a candidate’s understanding of basic mathematics, number systems, arithmetic, and quantitative problem-solving skills.
Section-2: (15 MCQ Questions)
Logical Reasoning – This section tests analytical thinking, pattern recognition, reasoning ability, and decision-making skills.
Section-3: (15 MCQ Questions)
General Knowledge – This section assesses awareness of current affairs, business and economic environment, and general awareness relevant to management studies.
The total duration of the test is 45 minutes, with all questions in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format. Each question carries one mark, and the test is structured to check both speed and accuracy.
The KMAT aims to provide a fair and comprehensive evaluation of candidates’ readiness for PGDM program at KMS, focusing on fundamental skills essential for future managers.
