Dr. A. A. Attarwala, Director – KBS & Prof. C. S. Balasubramaniam, Senior Faculty (Finance) – KBS had jointly undertaken intensive research on “Corporate Support for Research and Innovations” at the Global level and compared with Indian experience during October –November 2019. On behalf of Dr. A.A Attarwala, Prof. Balasubramaniam presented research at “International Research Conference on Innovations, Start-ups and Investments “(ICOSTART) at R. K. University, Rajkot (Gujarat) recently. Dr. Neil Perry – Western Sydney University (Australia) and Dr. Madhuri Shah – R. K. University who formed the panel of experts during the presentation, appreciated the research paper for its contemporary content and bringing out the linkages between corporate, leading IITs/ Universities / All India Research bodies and Venture Capitalists. Around 130 research papers were presented during the ICOSTART. Over 14 Keynote addresses made by the experts & thought leaders at ICOSTART. This conference provided a forum for over 200 senior academicians and administrators / senior officials from Government of India, Government of Gujarat, Universities from Bulgaria, Philippines, Sri Lanka, leading Venture Capital /Private Equity advisory firms, Consultancy organizations.
